The training manual not only describes main instruments of working with volunteers and technologies of organising of volunteer projects, but also gives practical recommendations on key directions of volunteerism (searching, engaging and motivation of volunteers, project development and organisation, project-management, establishing relations with mass media, running special events, etc.)

Dear Volunteers!

Seimar Social Fund and Volunteers Coordination Center  «Komanda SOS» are looking for a team of creators for unique and pioneer Atlas of Kazakhstan cultural, historical and geographical sights - «from Altai to Caspiy» - volunteers to make translation from Russian into Englsih.

Project launch day is 28.11.2012

Be a member of volunteers team and you will gain:
- the interesting acquaintances with fellow-thinkers and leading scientists, historians, geographer,
- an invaluable experience in implementation of editorial projects,
- a chance to be a member of English team  «from Altai to Caspiy » and to enjoy your name at the first pages of the edition.

Volunteers duties:
- translation of texts from Russian into English,
- agreement on scope of translation

Qualification requirements:
- Advanced\proficiency knowledge of English,
- in age of 18 and above;
- capability to work in a team (team-worker)

Information about Atlas from Altai to Caspiy»:
Atlas "from Altai to Caspiy»» is a scientific edition of encyclopedic format. It will serve as database frame for study and use of Kazakhstan historical and cultural monuments in further.
Main objective of this Atlas is a contribution in promotion of unique historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan. This Atlas is a pilot reference edition about geo strategic location of the region via which the Silk Way was taking course. The Silk Road is a transit intercontinental bridge between Asia and Europe in our days too.

The specificity of this edition is that it uses not only the scientific materials of the past studies\researches but the results of new researches made in 2007-2008 special for Atlas preparation.

Submission deadline of applications for participation in the project is not later than 27 November 2012.

First working meeting will take place on 28 November 2012
